The Avenida José Mourinho (Avenue José Mourinho)will now join the toponymic of Setubal city , a tribute to the football coach born in this city of Portugal, on January 26, 1963. His hometown Setubal is recognizing José Mourinho for life.

The Avenida José Mourinho becomes the new designation of Street Health ( Rua da Saude), located on the riverfront between Setúbal Street Workers Sea and Urban Park Albarquel.

Jose Mourinho made his debut as head coach in 2000, the service of SL Benfica, then the training Uniao Leiria which held an extraordinary campaign, coming to take the top job as coach of FC Porto in 2002.

FC Porto had a brilliant performance and won the Championship of Portugal in two consecutive years, the Cup of Portugal, getting an achievement unparalleled, by winning consecutive years in the UEFA Cup and Champions League, winning respectively the Glasgow Celtic and AC Monaco in the finals.

In 2004, London called the “Special One” who joins in Chelsea from Roman Abramovich, immediately winning two championships of England (after 50 years of waiting), the English League Cup and FA Cup. Always comes quite far in the Champions League and out of the club where he would return in 2013.

In 2007, heads the Inter of Milan, in which back to win several titles, both in Italian football (2 Championships Italy 2Taça Italy, 2 Italian Super Cup) and the Champions League,beating on the  Bayern Munich and after Internazionale Milano waiting for the Trophy for 50 years. Former -Real Madrid (now on Chelsea ) coach Jose Mourinho , who completed the 50th birthday in January 26th , is to get a street or an avenue in his Hometown Setubal named after him in honour of his Fantastic and Unique sporting achievements.

José Mourinho’s hometown, Setúbal city , wants to pay a tribute to the former Real Madrid manager and coach, by naming a street after him to coincide with his 50th birthday.

The exact street or avenue has not yet been chosen but the town hall’s general assembly voted unanimously to approve the naming.

The people at Setúbal and all the Portuguese in Portugal and all around the world, have no doubt that Mourinho deserves a statue in his town because he is the who makes it known worldwide Setubal. Let us wait to see if such exist.

Besides this possible honour, the town is also putting on an exhibition about the life of its most famous son. It is due to open on 23rd March at the Galeria Municipal 11 on Avenida Luísa Todi, with the coach expected to attend the inauguration.

One of the main attractions at the exhibition will be replicas of the main trophies win by Mou during his career. Also on display will be items of clothing worn by the coach on the touch-line, including the coat he had on when Porto famously defeated Manchester United in the 2003-04 

round of 16.

The Setubal town hall said it had made the decision because of Mourinho’s “extraordinary role in international sport”, but Portugal Dream Coast think and bet ,many years ago he would revolutionize the Football as a Sport, with a  new way and approach to prepare the teams, re-structuring of Clubs and Teams , methodology to train, and some other aspects. We continue thinking José Mourinho will be the Best Coach in the World ever (today he his considered the third).

He is, in all fairness, one of the coaches in the world with the most prestige and qualification.

Mourinho, the self-styled “Special One“, is undoubtedly; the most successful ever Portuguese coach, and we could say with no doubts change the Football in many aspects.

He  celebrate wins  league titles in Four different Countries with Porto (2), Chelsea (2) , Inter (2)  and Real Madrid (1), and has led  Two teams (FCPorto and Internazionale de Milano)  to Two Champions League trophies, 1 UEFA Cup, Cup and Supercup of Portugal, Spain, Italy and England Cups!!!
